Polyol Complex

The unique in its region, the new polyol complex, that is located in Tiszaújváros, Hungary. The project is the single largest organic investment in the history of (MOL Group). The plant is using the most advanced, safest, and most environmentally friendly technology currently available in the market to produce 200,000 tons annually of polyol which is an innovative and highly sought-after commodity chemical, for which the demand will continue to grow in the upcoming decades.
AMTC had the pleasure to be side to side with HaWig in a Joint Venture under the umbrella of the main contractor ThyssenKrupp Uhde to accomplish the HVAC engineering work for four buildings.
Every engineering detail in the complex was a challenge to accomplish, including the HVAC design. The huge range of design temperature condition in Hungary, the sensitive condition for most area designations and the aim to be environmentally friendly were AMTC’s achieved challenges. The design was referenced to the European code.
